Karin Kupp

Karin Kupp is uniquely gifted as a remarkable athlete who is able to encourage and inspire those around her to be the best they can be. Karin's personal commitment to fitness, her love for people and laughter makes her a natural leader in assisting individuals to achieve their fitness goals. Her athletic accomplishments include: a two time All America Collegiate Soccer Player, Boston Marathon finisher, accomplished Tri-Athlete, high school soccer coach and has two top 2 finishes in regional body building competitions. These "hands on" athletic accomplishments complement her 14 year experience as a premier group fitness instructor. Karin is certified by both the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) as a group fitness instructor, and the IYCA (International Youth Conditioning Association) as a Certified Youth Fitness Specialist. Karin possesses a valuable combination of fitness education, experience in group fitness instruction and continues to achieve great success at various athletic competitions. Never one to take herself too seriously, Karin loves a good joke and gets enormous satisfaction through building and maintaining relationships with others. In between workouts Karin is the mother to four children and wife to husband Craig. They live in Yakima Washington.
 

Joyce Jackson

Joyce Jackson brings 18 years of fitness experience to Boot Camp. She is an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. She is also certified in Spinning, Yoga and Pilates. Joyce has a great way of making people feel comfortable no matter what fitness level they may be. From the beginner to the experienced, she can make exercise not only strong work but lots of fun. She enjoys what she does and wants everyone she works with to feel the same. Her vibrant and positive personality will make you enjoy working out! Her goal is to help individuals not only reach their fitness goals but to have fun while doing it. Technique is very important to Joyce. She will make sure that you are not just "doing an exercise" but doing it the right way and feeling it. This results in a more efficient workout. This is an important part of meeting any fitness goal you may have. Her own fitness experiences include bodybuilding, being a part of a triathlon team. She also just trained and ran four 1/2 marathons. She also enjoys running in community and fun runs. Joyce is married to Rocky and has 2 very active kids, Baylee and Denzel. She is very involved in her kids lives including sports and schools. Joyce's school activities include President of the PTA, soccer boosters, and cheer boosters, football and basketball boosters as well! She is also on the Yakima School Foundation Board. When she has free time, she and Rocky enjoy traveling and spending time together!
